We invite you to join us for the first annual Google in Education Montreal Summit produced by EdTech Team, to be held at theLakeside Academy on December 7th & 8th, 2013. This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education. The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

Using Google Apps for Education our students are becoming global contributors of information. As their role evolves, so should our emphasis on creation literacies and design. Both teachers and students need to understand the importance of being able to create and design work that others will want to consume. In this session we will look at how design plays a crucial role in any product. This hands-on session will highlight the importance of design and pedagogical principles that help us build media products with a special focus on creating effective slides.
