We invite you to join us for the first annual Google in Education Montreal Summit produced by EdTech Team, to be held at theLakeside Academy on December 7th & 8th, 2013. This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education. The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

Learn the basics of blogging, the edubogging ethic, and how writing for an authentic audience (and feedback) can improve student writing - and student motivation to write. See examples of great blogs in all grade levels and subject areas, including student blogs, team blogs, class blogs, teacher blogs, administrator blogs, school blogs and more. Practice the process of reading, reflecting, writing, and responding...and pick up tips for better blogging. This session includes an interactive "teacher's overview of blogger" and the latest features and tips for making the most of blogger. The benefits of blogging, related concerns, and legal issues are also discussed.
