Learn how to get your “feet wet” with Google Apps for Education. Topics will include Chrome browser, docs, sheets, drawings, and forms. See how migrating to these new tools can be quick and painless, and allow you to take your students to the next level of digital literacy. While they are simple to start with, Google Apps for Education can grow with you and let you build up to more advanced techniques. This session will cover a basic introduction to each app, how to organize yourself “in the cloud,” and how the little improvements over traditional personal computing will make a big difference to your workflow. It will conclude with a preview of going further with Google by using add-on apps and Google Scripts.
