We invite you to join us for the first annual Google in Education Montreal Summit produced by EdTech Team, to be held at theLakeside Academy on December 7th & 8th, 2013. This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education. The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

This session will focus on how understanding the power of social media to build a conversation and crowd-source your school’s story can promote a positive school culture and amplify student voice. By focusing on the use of our #leydenpride hashtag, our collaborative blogs, and more we will discuss both the benefits and the concerns of engaging in the use of social media with your school community with tools such as Blogger, Google +, and more.
