This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education. The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

After working in the television industry, Jim spent many years as an award-winning video production teacher working with students to produce service projects that addressed the growing number of issues impacting teens. His work in the classroom was featured in Edutopia and their Teach2Learn series on "Building Career Skills in Video Production". As a Google Certified Innovator & Trainer and Apple Distinguished Educator, Jim specializes in Google’s collaborative tools, project-based learning, and visual / media literacy

Today, he is based out of Melbourne, Australia as the Director of Product Development for EdTechTeam and works with schools all over the world inspiring new uses of technology in teaching and learning. Throughout his travels, he has developed a passion for finding great stories in education while writing a few of his own.
